Starting your homeschool day off right can really set the intention for your entire day. Start it off on a good note and it usually leads to a smooth, calm and fun day. Start the day off on a bad note and it’ll usually leave you feeling flustered, disorganized and grumpy all day.
Ah, the joys of homeschooling!
To me, homeschooling has been one of the best things that I have ever experienced. The joy you get while watching your child out in the world, learning new things by doing and just genuinely enjoying the whole learning experience, is non-other. I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s fall y’all!
Fall has always been my favorite season. The crisp, cool air, cozy sweaters, warm boots, scarves, pumpkin spice lattes, apple crisp, Halloween and beautiful falling leaves. What’s not to love?
Here at our house, I’ve been putting a lot of focus on the alphabet and letter recognition lately with my preschooler. While he still loves doing his Interactive Notebook that I shared in this post, I’ve been trying to change things up a bit so things stay fresh and fun for him. I’ve come up with a bunch of different alphabet activities that we pull out a few times a week, which he’s been really enjoying.
I have a confession to make.
My family and I were in a major dinner rut for awhile. Week after week, we would go through the same rotation of basic, boring meals and we were getting really sick of it. We needed a change, and we needed it fast.
